Hi all, Thanks for this mod. If I can get it to work it will really help me out. 
I am trying to use the converted 8054 (with the 5450 firmware) in 'access point client' mode. I'm trying to connect an ethernet 100base-T device to a netgear router: So it will look like this: Device----5450 - -(wireless)- - Netgear Router----CableModem Has anyone done something like this successfully? I've looked at pages and pages of docs and feel like I've tried everything. So far: Installed 5450 firmware Connected via the config utility Changed IP address to 192.168.1.110 (router is 192.168.1.1) set to access point mode Put MAC addr of netgear into MAC addr field Tried as AP Client, repeater, wireless bridge.

I installed wireless config utility but I still cant seem to get the set up right. I reset to default. IN the ESSID I put the name of the primary router (linksys) Channel is 11 (same as linksys) AP name (linksys) Checked Wireless Bridge mode entered remote bridge mac address (mac address of linksys router - is this correct?) Under IP setting: I set IP address as address from linksys (192.168.15.XXX) subnet same as linksys Gateway is main linksys address (192.168.15.1) Anything I am doing wrong here?
